A judge has denied a bond reduction for a Hawkins County man accused of sexually abusing his step-granddaughter two years ago. 61 year old William Hatley is charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery. A grand jury returned sealed indictments against him on June 1st. Hatley is jailed on a 100 thousand dollar bond. His attorney waived his preliminary hearing and argued for a reduced bond. (jb)
