Boy Dies After Hunting Accident
The Washington County Virginia boy that was shot has died of those injuries. The Sheriff's department confirmed that emergency crews responded to a call on Goose Creek Road Wednesday night about 6pm. The boy was taken to Bristol Regional Medical Center where he died Thursday morning. Authorities have not released his name yet but his body was sent to Roanoke for an autopsy. The incident remains under investigation as a potential hunting accident by the Washington County sheriff's office and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. The report states that the 12-year old was shot in the head while hunting with his 15-year old brother. (bg)
