Man Arrested In Stabbing Incident
Johnson City police have arrested a man involved in a stabbing incident at the John Sevier Center. A 9-1-1 caller told them that a man was walking near South Roan and East Maple with blood on his clothing. The victim told police that he had been stabbed in the leg at an apartment at the Johnson Sevier Center. Police arrested 52 year old Louis Popps and charged him with aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond has been set at 31 thousand dollars. (jb)
