New Programs at Great Smoky Mountains Park
The Great Smoky Mountains Park is offering two new programs designed for families looking for healthy, outdoor activities this summer. Through the “Hike the Smokies” Program, families will be encouraged to walk the park’s shorter, less strenuous trails and record the number of miles they complete in a booklet created for program participants. The “Adopt a Trail Program” will give children an opportunity to maintain one of the park’s shorter, kid-friendly park trails. (ha)
