Building Committee Approves Addition Of Beds At Jail
Members of the Hawkins County Buildings Committee have approved the addition of 36 beds to the county jail. Sheriff Ronnie Lawson tells us that he will take the 17 thousand dollars required to pay for the expansion out of his existing budget. Thirty beds will be added to the men's wing of the jail. Six beds will be added to the women's facility. (jb)
