Johnson City police have charged a Jonesborough man with the theft of two motor scooters. 28 year old Christopher McCourry is alleged to have taken the scooters from a Hamilton Street residence. He is currently in the Washington County Detention Center under an 11 thousand dollar bond. Arraignment is scheduled for today. (jb)
