A Sullivan County judge has denied the request for a new trial from a convicted murderer. 24 year old Nicholas Overbay was convicted of first degree murder in the Christmas Day 2004 killing of 19 year old Josh Tilson. His attorney claims that Overbay had ineffective counsel in his 2006 trial. (jb)
