A co-defendant in a high profile murder case is getting out of jail today. 39 year old Christopher Johnson was charged in the death of 37 year old Sherry Cooper in Johnson City. He entered a guilty plea to a lesser charge of tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. He will serve 8 years of probation. Cooper's son, Codey Miller is alleged to have choked her and stuffed her body inside of a Johnson City garbage can. (jb)
