Two Arrested In Heat Pump Thefts
Kingsport police have arrested two men in connection with a rash of heat pump thefts. Over the past two months several businesses have had their heating and air conditioning units stolen. On June 18th surveillance footage showed two men taking a unit from a business complex on Brookside Drive. On June 20th, an officer stopped a Ford Ranger pickup that looked like the one shown in the video. 43 year old Robert MacFarlane and 35 year old Jason Craven were arrested and charged with three counts of theft over one thousand dollars. More charges are expected to be filed against the two men. (jb)
