Carter County Lockup Tonight
Carter County Sheriff Chris Mathes plans on putting a couple hundred teenagers in jail. The plans are to give them a taste of what it feels like to be locked up. It will happen between 6:00 o'clock and midnight tonight. This will also give jail staff a final training exercise before the Sheriff starts moving inmates in from the old jail. Mathes says he hopes to reach as many 7th through 12th grade students as he can. (jb)
