Commission To Consider Wheel Tax
Sullivan County commissioners will consider instituting a wheel tax in order to make up for the funding gap in the county. Commissioner John Crawford brought up the idea during a recent called meeting of the county's Budget Committee. He says that a wheel tax would be more fair for residents than a property tax increase. The Budget Committee meets tonight at 6:00. (jb)
