The Sullivan County Budget Committee has voted to recommend a property tax increase to the county commission. If the commission agrees to the proposal, property owners will see an approximate .20 cents per hundred dollars of value increase. The proposal must be approved by a simple majority of the commission at two separate meetings. (jb)
