Immunize For Measles Before Visiting The UK
The Virginia Department of Health has a message for those traveling to next month’s Olympics in London which take place July 27th through August 12th. You are encouraged to update your vaccinations before leaving and immunize especially against measles. Less than 3-hundred Americans reported having measles last year and only seven Virginians but there is currently an ongoing measles outbreak in Europe. Last year over 1-thousand measles cases were reported in the United Kingdom. (bg)
