Cooley Pleads Guilty To Filing False Police Report
An ETSU basketball player charged with filing a false police report has entered a guilty plea. Sheldon Cooley told police that burglars bound and gagged his two teammates in February, and also took 1,300 dollars from him. The judge placed Cooley on judicial diversion and ordered him to pay a 25 dollar fine. If he completes the terms of his probation his record will be wiped clean. (jb)
