Former Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper Barry Myers has died after being involved in a head-on collision. The crash happened Monday evening on Highway 75 near Tri-Cities Regional Airport. He was airlifted to Holston Valley Hospital where he died 24 hours after the accident. The driver of the other vehicle, 40 year old Jennifer McClain was also airlifted to the hospital. Police have not released details on her condition. (jb)
