Roan Mountain Double Murder
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is the lead agency in a double murder investigation in Carter County. The bodies of a man and woman were found in a burned-out garage early Tuesday in Roan Mountain. There are few details at this time. TBI Spokesperson Kristin Helm says that the victims appeared to have been shot, and the fire set to try to cover up the crime. (jb)
