Shots Fired In Greene Co. Holdup
Shots were fired in an armed robbery Thursday night at Stop and Go Market along E. Andrew Johnson Hwy. near Greenville. Greene County Sheriff's deputies are seeking two people involved in the hold up. A shot was fired at the store clerk when he ducked behind the counter in the initial onset of the hold up. A man and a woman entered the store about 10:15 PM and made off with just over $1400 along with 25 cartons of cigarettes valued at $700. The store video captured the hold up. No injuries were reported. The pair fled in a 4 x 4 pickup truck.(CS)
