Bristol, Va To Hold Reorganization Meeting Today
Bristol, Virgina city leaders will hold their annual reorganization meeting when they gather at 9:00 o'clock this morning. Current Mayor Ed Harlow, and Vice Mayor Jim Steele are the front runners for the city's top job. The city council is expected to reappoint City Manager Dewey Cashwell and Clerk Steve Allen as well as make committee appointments. Harlow is quoted in a David McGee article in the Bristol Herald Courier as saying he's not actively seeking reappointment as mayor, but he would serve if selected. (jb)
