Fire Leaves Six Families Homeless
Six families are homeless after a fire gutted a Johnson City apartment building. Johnson City Fire Department responded to the apartments at Carroll Creek Road and the Bristol Highway around 4:15 Saturday afternoon. Flames were coming from the building when they arrived. All of the residents were able to make it out of the building safely. The American Red Cross will be assisting the families. (jb)
