One Killed in Johnson City Crash
Witnesses are saying that speed may have been a contributing factor to a fatal accident Johnson City before noon Monday. The crash occurred on Bristol Highway between Knob Creek Boat Dock Road and Onion Lane. Johnson City traffic homicide investigators are conducting a probe. The pickup truck that ran out of control after weaving through traffic at a high rate of speed, rolled and struck a power pole. The identity of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification of family. A passenger in the truck also suffered injuries and was taken local hospital.(CS)
