JC Auto Fatality
There was a traffic fatality Monday morning in Johnson City. It happened just before noon in the 3900 block of the Bristol Highway. A red Ford F-150 was traveling northbound when it went off the road, into a ditch, then rolled and struck a utility pole. The driver of the truck died at the scene. A passenger in the pickup was taken to the Johnson City Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Police are not releasing the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
