Preliminary Autopsy Results Are In
Carter County Sheriff's Department has received preliminary autopsy results in the double homicide in Roan Mountain. The report confirms the identities of Glenn Shell and Joyce Brock. The couple had been the victims of a previous arson attack on their home and were living in their garage. Someone shot the two people at close range in the head, and then set their bodies on fire. It's believed that Joyce Brock was still alive when she was set on fire. The sheriff's department is continuing their investigation. (jb)
