One Boy Dead, Another Injured When Shocked While Swimming
One boy is dead and another one is in critical condition after an electrocution on Cherokee Lake. The two boys were swimming between two house boats when they were shocked. It happened at a marina near Bean Station. A 10 year old boy died, and medics were able to revive the 11 year old. Bystanders tried to rescue the two boys but they were also shocked, and required medical treatment. Investigators say that faulty wiring from the house boat caused the shock. (jb)
