2nd Drowning Victim Found
Carter County authorities say the second drowning victim is been recovered at the base of Laurel Fork Falls. About 10 o'clock Wednesday morning an adult male was found floating facedown at the falls. Carter County Sheriff Chris Mathes says they began looking for second victim when 2 backpacks were found at a nearby campsite. Mathes says the water flow at the falls creates a hydraulic that can catch swimmers causing them to drown. The victims were a father and son from out-of-state.(CS)
