Man Fires Shots At Neighbor, Charged With Attempted Murder
A Kingsport man has been charged with attempted murder. 21 year old Christopher Wright is alleged to have fired a rifle at a man in front of a home on Dorothy Street. Police say that Wright and the other man were involved in an argument and had pulled knives on each other. At that point Wright told the man he was going to go get a gun and kill him. He returned a short time later and fired four or five shots at the victim. Two .22 caliber bullets and one live round were found at the scene. Wright was charged and taken to the Kingsport City Jail.
