Attempted Arson, Aggravated Assault Arrest
A Johnson City man has been arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault, Attempted Arson and Evading Arrest. Police went to a Gilmer Street residence on the report of a fight. They were told that 46 year old Charles Campbell had hit his 17 year old son with a shovel. He is also alleged to have tried to set fire to a shed next to the home before leaving. Campbell was located a short time later and arrested. He is being held under a 41 thousand dollar bond. (jb)
