Jim Pate is out as the Chief Executive Officer for Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. The hospital Board of Control unanimously accepted his resignation at a called meeting Monday afternoon. On June 18th the board voted to place Pate on a 30 day paid medical leave. The board will continue to pay Pate his salary until August 22nd, totaling nearly 30 thousand dollars. (jb)
