Sunoco Robbery
A Virgil Avenue woman has been arrested for holding up the Sunoco Store on Lynn Garden Drive. 28 year old Alexis Yates is said to have entered the store wearing a gray hoodie and an orange ski mask. When she entered the store around 2:00 o'clock this morning she pulled the ski mask over her face. The clerk got a good look at her and recognized her. Yates is said to have put her hand in her pocket, indicating she had a weapon, and demanded money. She left on foot. Police located her in a parking lot of another business about 8 minutes later. Cash from the robbery was found in her sweatpants. (jb)
