Lawsuit Should Settle Today
Tri-Cities Regional Airport could settle a 10 year old lawsuit today. At issue is a buffer zone surrounding a section of the airport. The airport is trying to obtain property in the Grande Harbor subdivision by eminent domain. Several of developer Tim Carter's creditors have liens against the property, and have sued to protect their interests. Grande Harbor had their state charter revoked in 2009 for failure to pay taxes.
