Kingsport Man Charged with Abuse of the 9-1-1 System
A Kingsport man's calls to 9-1-1 claiming he was being held against his will has led to his arrest. 27 year old Eric Chayne Pauley of Valley Street has been charged with abuse of the 9-1-1 system. His calls prompted a three hour search for him on Monday. He was found walking on Watauga Street and arrested. When his wife tried to bail him out of jail she was arrested on a felony failure to appear warrant. Police say the man had also lied to his family about being in the witness protection program. (bg)
