Grand Jury Indicted JC Man with Fraud in Hit & Run
A Sullivan County grand jury has indicted a Johnson City man for allegedly forcing a woman into the driver's seat of his car after being involved in a hit and run accident. The victim says that 42 year old Chris Copas was involved in a hit and run at the Ken-Jo Market January 3rd. He's alleged to have pulled out his knife and forced the woman into the driver's seat of the car near the Interstate 26 overpass. Copas is also alleged to have assaulted the woman by putting her in a headlock and punching her in the head and pulling her hair. (bg)
