Trial Avoided In Plea Deal
A trial that was to begin today on attempted child rape charges has been avoided. William Taylor pleaded guilty last week to solicitation of rape of a child. He was accused of arranging for a minor to have sex with a prostitute. Several charges were dropped against him in exchange for his guilty plea. Taylor will be sentenced on August 31st. (jb)
