TN Provides Mortgage Counseling
Tennessee officials have created a mortgage hotline for struggling homeowners. The development comes after attorneys general across the country reached an agreement with the nation’s top five mortgage services that provide an estimated $140 million in relief to Tennesseeans. Homeowners can call (855) 876-7283 toll free from 9am-6pm each weekday. That number will connect homeowners to a foreclosure prevention counselor who can explain various housing assistance programs.
