A local charity is having a fundraiser tomorrow to help families faced with the burdens that come with having a child in the hospital. Co-founder, Jennifer Schoondyke says she’s overwhelmed by the number of families requiring assistance in the region. Kari’s Heart Foundation provides things like gas cards, hotel rooms, meals and Karing Bags for area families faced with a hospital stay.
