Kari's Heart Foundation Hosts Karing Fair Tomorrow
A local charity is having a fundraiser tomorrow to help families faced with the burdens that come with having a child in the hospital. Co-founder, Jennifer Schoondyke says she’s overwhelmed by the number of families requiring assistance in the region. Kari’s Heart Foundation provides things like gas cards, hotel rooms, meals and Karing Bags for area families faced with a hospital stay. The Karing Fair will be at Winged Deer Park tomorrow from 10am – 2pm and is a free, carnival-like event. For more information, you can visit karisheartfoundation.org. (JH)
