Two people accused of beating a man to death in order to get his money were in court Wednesday. Timothy Jason Pate and Whitney Kristina Harris are accused of luring 78 year old Lonnie Townsend to their home and then beating him to death with a hammer in order to rob him. Pate and Harris will return to court on November 20th. Harris remains jailed on a 250 thousand dollar bond. Pate's bond remains at 300 thousand dollars. (jb)
