Wild West Chase
A Church Hill man led police on a wild west chase on horseback. It happend around 11:00 o'clock Friday night on Netherland Inn Road. A deputy observed 36 year old Andrew William Ketron and two other men on horseback, weaving in and out of traffic. The deputy tried to stop Ketron, but he led them on a chase for about three miles. At one point Ketron rammed the police cruiser with his horse. He was eventually arrested and charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, vandalism and cruelty to animals. (jb)
