A Scott County woman has been bound over to a grand jury on first-degree murder and defiling a dead body charges. 40 year old Melissa Napier is charged with shooting her 74 year old husband Billy and leaving his body to decompose in their home for nearly a month. Additional evidence that has come to light has prompted Scott County prosecutors to place charges against Napier's 14-year-old daughter. She is in North Carolina awaiting extradition.
