Construction work on Kingsport's Gibson Mill Road hit a roadblock Tuesday when a natural gas line was ruptured and then ignited by a spark. The incident happened around 10:30 while concrete was being cut from the road. ATMOS Energy responded to the scene, turned off the gas line and extinguished the fire by noon.
