Cabela's Announces Plans to Open in Bristol, VA
Cabela’s has announced plans to build its first store in Virginia. The 85,000-square-foot store will anchor The Falls development along Lee Highway close to Interstate 81’s Exit 5. The Falls development is expected to accommodate about 1.5 million-square-feet of retail space. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2013 and Cabela’s expects to open the location in 2014. The announcement comes just a week after BassPro Shops announced they will be locating a few miles down the road in Bristol, Tennessee. (JH)
