Two Indicted In Christmas Day Killing
Two Tennessee men have been indicted in the Christmas Day 2011 killing of a man in Nickelsville. 60 year old Charlie Joe Ramey and 36 year old Daniel Eugene Norris of Bristol are believed to have shot Gregory Jerome Hale to death at his home. Norris is being held in Tennessee on an unrelated charge. Ramey is being held without bond in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Duffield. The U.S. Attorney's Office is reviewing the charges and could elevate charges against the two men. (jb)
