Lawyers representing Sullivan County in a lawsuit from the Sheriff have asked for a dismissal. Sheriff Wayne Anderson is seeking 9.9 million dollars additional funding for his department's operations. They say that Anderson has failed to adequately manage the budget the county commission has set for him. Another objection is that the legal papers were served on the County Attorney and not County Mayor Steve Godsey. (jb)
