Burned Dog Recovering
A dog that was burned with hot oil is recovering at home in Hawkins County. Shela Foster's white Labrador Retreiver was burned on it's hind legs on Thursday. Foster is quoted in a Times News article as saying she believes the dog was attacked at her residence on Landcastle Road because the dog never leaves the property. The dog has been treated at an emergency vet clinic and appears to be on the road to recovery. Hawkins detectives are investigating. (jb)
