Delgado Murder Trial Reset
A six year old murder case has been rescheduled. 43 yea rold Poncho Delgado is facing first-degree murder charges stemming for the 2006 stabbing of 41 year old Robert Curtis. Delgado is alleged to have set fire to Curtis' home to try to cover up the crime. A mistrial was declared in 2008 after only one day of testimony. Delgado is housed in Tennessee's DeBerry Special Needs Facility because of his failing health. No reason has been given for rescheduling his second trial. (jb)
