Carter Man Indicted For Second-Degree Murder
A Carter County man has been arraigned in a year old murder case. 32 year old Israel Goudy was in court Tuesday morning. He's charged with second degree murder and tampering with evidence. He's alleged to have shot and killed Larry Whittaker at Whittaker's home on October 16th, 2011. Goudy is said to have admitted to planting a gun and knife on Whittaker's body after he died. He was appointed a public defender, and is due back in court on November 13th. (jb)
