Woman Arrested For False Rape Claims A woman trying to hide an affair from her husband has now been arrested. Last month, Kimberly Evans told deputies at the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office that she had been raped on two different occasions, once in June and another time in August. Evans said the rapes happened at Warriors Path State Park by two different men. Later during an interview with Detective Cindy Adams, Evans confessed that neither of the alleged rapes happened and that she had made up the entire story. As a result Evans is charged with two counts of filing a false report. She turned herself in at the Sullivan County Correctional Facility this morning. (JH)
