Royston Sentencing Delayed
Sentencing has been postponed until October 26th for a 62-year-old Bristol Tennessee man convicted of two counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of aggravated rape, and especially aggravated kidnapping. Johnny Royston, Sr of Highway 421 East of Bristol likely faces the rest of his life behind bars in connection with the drugged kidnapping of a woman from a Bristol night club. Before his latest arrest Royston had served several years in Tennessee's prison system in connection with the death of his girlfriend and the burning of her body.(CS)
