A court date has been set for the owner of a Kingsport bonding company. 74 year old Ralph Hawkins is the owner of Tri-City Bonding Company. He was arrested last week for allegedly hiring a convicted felon to be a bounty hunter. That bounty hunter was shot and killed while acting in an official capacity of the company. Hawkins is also facing a hearing motion to suspend his bondwriting priveleges in all courts in the 2nd District. (jb)
