A Hawkins County woman whose baby was found in a garbage can avoided murder charges, but will now be charged with abuse of a corpse. A Hawkins County grand jury returned a "no true bill" against Kathryn Condrey of Mount Carmel on Monday. Hawkins District Attorney General Berkeley Bell has now charged her with abuse of a corpse. She was arrested Thursday afternoon by TBI agenst on the charge and released on her own recognizance. (jb)
