Meningitis Outbreak Far From Over
Some recent Tennessee deaths that were not previously linked to fungal meningitis are getting a review after a deadly outbreak has sickened 105 people nationwide. Tennessee Commissioner of Health Dr. John Dreyzehner said yesterday that a Sept. 26 death was not initially reported to the state until this weekend.
