Police Looking For Person That Stole Parks And Rec Car
Johnson City detectives are looking for the person that stole a car from the Parks and Recreation Department. An employee reported the theft Friday. They say that someone came in through the locker room door of the Legion Street Center and tried to open the safe. When they were unsuccessful in getting the safe open they rummaged through a desk drawer and took a set of keys. Police found the car on Saturday behind a restaurant on University Parkway. A dusting of the car for fingerprints returned only smudged prints. If you have any information contact Johnson City Crimestoppers. (jb)
